Perdomo 20th Anniversary Sun Grown
As with many of today's most beloved and successful businesses, Perdomo Cigars traces its humble beginnings back to the garage of an American with a dream. In this case, the year was 1992 and our visionary was one Nicholas Perdomo Jr., who worked tirelessly in the decades to follow, building his company to one of the best-selling premium cigar operations in the world.
In 2012, Nick celebrated the company's milestone 20th anniversary with a suite of three blends under the Perdomo 20th Anniversary collection, including the 20th Anniversary Sun Grown, 20th Anniversary Connecticut, and 20th Anniversary Maduro cigars.
In order to give the Perdomo 20th Anniversary Sun Grown the top-tier performance expected from an anniversary release, Perdomo chose select, high-priming leaves for the entirety of the blend. Hailing from each of the major growing regions of Nicaragua, all tobaccos are aged for a minimum of eight years. Finally, the Cuban-seed wrapper undergoes an additional 10 months aging in spent bourbon barrels. These processes go more than a few steps further than nearly any cigar in the humidor, offering an elevated performance for the experienced palate. This includes long-lasting complexities of red pepper, toasted oak, peppered steak, leather, and caramel-vanilla sweetness.
