While Padrón became a household name for many cigar enthusiasts during the '90s with the earth-shattering debut of the Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series, the company had been pleasing the palates of those in the know for decades prior. Indeed, while the company is best known for their ultra-premiums, the humble Padrón "Thousand" Series offers a more approachable entry point for the legendary brand, offering their signature Nicaraguan flavor with price points for the everyday enthusiast.
Like nearly all Padrón cigars, the Thousand Series is offered in two varieties: Natural and Maduro. Each version boasts an aged selection of Nicaraguan leaf throughout the binder and filler, swapping the wrapper for a sun-grown natural leaf or a dark maduro alternative (both of which are aged for a minimum of two and a half years). The natural-wrapped Padron Thousand Series Natural cigar is known to offer a medium-plus body and dependable flavors of black pepper, toasted hardwoods, medium-roast coffee, and touches of caramel.

It’s a Padron the flavor is good…… so good that it doesn’t change. (not that it’s bad thing it’s just something you might want to know or take into consideration) I wouldn’t recommend for a novice smoker the nicotine might bite you.
