Julius was born in 1875, later starting his own cigar company out of a barn near his family's home in Cleveland circa 1895. Little did he know at the time, Julius' humble operation would grow to become one of the leading cigar companies in the world, standing today as the oldest American cigar operation in existence!
The Diamond Crown Julius Caeser cigar debuted in 2010 to commemorate Julius' 135th birthday, with the cigar featuring a stunning Ecuadorian Havana-seed wrapper that envelops a blend of aged tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Central America. Giving the blend its signature depth of flavor and complexity, the cigars include tobaccos that are carefully aged for five years prior to being rolled. Subtle flavors pop out that hold my interest throughout. A little on the mild side but the flavors make up for it!

The flavor profile to me was a little underwhelming with a primarily raisiny flavor being predominant. It obviously was made with good tobaccos however it just wasn't my cup of tea. Take that with a grain of salt because it could be your favorite cigar. Like I said, it is a fantastic stick but it just isn't what I prefer.

I always have some in my humidor, but usually save them for special occasions (or not so special ones). Either way, a great, solid smoke.

DJDon Jones - Julius Caeser PyramidFantastic cigar, better than the Robusto in my opinion, which is saying a lot because the Robusto was fantastic. Coffee, cream, wood, and nuts, with just a hint of pepper, this is a great cigar for a night by the fire. I always have a couple in my humidor.
