Since 2013, Aganorsa Leaf has made it an annual tradition to craft a special smoking experience for the die-hard cigar enthusiast, with the Casa Fernández Miami Aniversario Bohème No. 35 kicking off the collection with critical acclaim. The series is rolled at the company's boutique-style Aganorsa Miami factory, with the entire run typically being handled by a single torcedor.
In recent years, the annual release has seen its largest alterations to date. Following Aganorsa Leaf's name change (formerly Casa Fernández), the Aniversario responded in kind. Additionally, the packaging and presentation now reflect the brand's modern appearance, and the company added the long-awaited Maduro variation in 2020.
Fast forward to present day, and the Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Maduro cigar is now here to stay, with Aganorsa moving away from the one-off nature of the series and into a more steady (yet still small batch) release structure. The Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Maduro cigar boasts an all-Nicaraguan recipe from Aganorsa's own farms throughout Nicaragua. The blend is crowned with the company's proprietary Aganorsa Shade-Grown Corojo Maduro wrapper, making for a familiar profile with a darker twist. Expect a balanced, medium to full profile, offering characteristics of oak, black pepper, mocha, and chocolate graham crackers.
