Trinidad Espiritu Series No. 2
In 2019, the Cuban-born Trinidad brand was given a breath of fresh air with a vintage-inspired cigar known as Trinidad Espíritu Series No. 1. The cigars were created in collaboration with high-profile cigar artisans Rafael Nodal and AJ Fernández, being themed around Caribbean culture circa the 1960s and '70s.
For the cigar's sequel, Trinidad heads south and into the more exotic climate of Brazil, introducing the Trinidad Espíritu Series No. 2. As with the original, Nodal and Fernández have collaborated on the blend. Where the Series No. 1 cigar featured all-Nicaraguan tobaccos, the Trinidad Espíritu Series No. 2 boasts a more diverse recipe, including Nicaraguan and Brazilian fillers, a Nicaraguan binder, and a dark Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper. The resulting smoking experience is unquestionably hearty, offering medium-full-bodied flavors of mineral-rich earth, black pepper, chicory coffee, and heaps of bittersweet dark chocolate.
