For the Tatuaje 15th Anniversary Rosado Oscuro, Pete Johnson goes back to his roots. Originally crafted for the Grand Havana Room in the early 2000s, the cigar has been resurrected to mark 15 years of Tatuaje cigars being rolled in Miami. But this isn’t just a nostalgic reissue—it’s a refined celebration of craftsmanship, continuity, and the distinct Miami-made character that helped define the brand’s earliest success.

Crafted at the García family's El Rey de los Habanos factory in Doral, Florida, the Tatuaje 15th Rosado Oscuro is built with precision by Cuban-trained torcedores, each cigar being made start to finish by a single roller. This process mirrors custom Cuban practices and sets the tone for the cigar’s boutique pedigree. Underneath the reddish Ecuadorian Habano rosado oscuro wrapper lies a Nicaraguan binder and fillers harvested from the García family’s farms, incorporating both Criollo and Corojo-seed leaves.

From toasting the closed foot to the final third, the Tat 15th smokes with intention. A thin, aromatic smoke reveals an evolving mix of toasted baking spices, campfire, charred cedar, and a touch of marshmallow sweetness.
