Room 101 Big Payback Maduro
Five years after Matt Booth (owner of Room101) decided to give thanks to his loyal followers with the appropriately titled The Big Payback cigar, he has resurrected the brand once more. A lot has changed since the original release, including Room101's departure from the cigar industry and a return shortly thereafter, now partnering with a much more diverse selection of manufacturers throughout Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. This has enabled a wider range of smoking profiles, including the tweaked blend of The Big Payback Maduro.
As with the original release, the cigars are handcrafted in Honduras and offer large doses of flavor in a remarkably low price range. But that's where the similarities end, with the production now being handled at the STG Danlí factory, all-new sizes, altered packaging, and a new overall blend makeup. Where the previous Payback cigars sported all-Nicaraguan tobaccos, the updated cigars showcase a diverse, multinational blend. The fillers are sourced from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the DR; this concoction is bound in a Connecticut Shade leaf and finalized in a gritty Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.
