It's certainly not controversial to assert that Rocky Patel's The Edge series is not only among Rocky's top hits, but one of the most ubiquitous lines in all of premium cigars over the past two decades. First launched in 2004, the cigar took hold in cigar hobbyists' regular rotations through an attractive flavor/price ratio.
Two decades after production began on the famed RP The Edge cigar (celebrating the cigar's conception rather than its release date), Rocky Patel now introduces an upgraded take on the original recipe, fitting of the cigar's milestone achievement. With the Rocky Patel The Edge 20th Anniversary, Rocky looked to the original The Edge Sumatra cigar as inspiration. As such, an Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf was chosen for the wrapper, which has been aged a whopping 10 years prior to the cigars being rolled. This leaf surrounds a Honduran Habano binder and fillers of Honduras and Panama.
Rocky Patel The Edge 20th Anniversary is the eighth official The Edge cigar to date, taking the cake as the most premium of the bunch! The 20th Anniversary offers a more refined character, showing a medium-plus body and memorable flavors of cabinet spice, toasted hardwoods, medium-roast coffee bean, and salty-sweet caramel.

It was amazing from beginning to end. Took about an hour and half to smoke with a punch cut. Got progressively better as it smoked. But I would go with a smaller stick. More medium to full bodied smoke.
