If the Black Humidor was the handshake, the Red is the second verse... new wrapper, same respect. La Union Red Humidor continues the rare, dual-blended concept between My Father and Tatuaje, this time showcasing bolder wrapper choices and deeper contrast in flavor. It’s the second act of a collaboration twenty years in the making!
Inside the Red Humidor are two Prominente Especial blends (7¼" x 50), each rolled with a 109-style cap and crafted by the same elite teams responsible for the Black edition. Pete Johnson’s blend features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with a covered foot, while Jaime García’s uses a dark Connecticut Broadleaf. Both sit atop Nicaraguan binder and fillers grown on the García family farms, including the prized Pelo de Oro tobacco.
Within each box of 40, connoisseurs will discover:
- 20 cigars by Pete Johnson, featuring a Nicaraguan core wrapped in a rich Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf, finished with a refined closed foot
- 20 cigars by Jaime Garcia, built around a bold Nicaraguan blend and elegantly finished with a thick, flavorful USA Connecticut wrapper
