Foundation Highclere Castle
Cue the royal trumpets and release the doves. The Highclere Castle Edwardian has arrived! Released in 2017 as a collaborative effort between Nick Melillo (of Foundation Cigar Company) and Highclere Castle Cigar Company, the Edwardian is a smooth and elegant cigar blended to the profiles of cigars that would have been originally smoked on the Highclere Castle grounds in the early 1900s.
The Edwardian cigar sports a buttery-smooth Connecticut Shade wrapper, secured with a regal cream and gold foiled band that harkens to the days when guests of Highclere Castle would retire to the library after dinner for cigars and whisky. In order to craft such an experience, the mild Connecticut wrapper is joined by a hearty Brazilian Mata Fina binder and Nicaraguan fillers of Criollo, Corojo, and a special Nicadán hybrid selection.
Rolled by the acclaimed Tabacalera A.J. Fernández factory, the Highclere Castle Edwardian is a mild-medium-bodied cigar that dances across the palate with notes of butterscotch, citrus, and pepper. Enjoy a taste of history with this fine-tuned work of tobacco artistry.

DLDaniel Lemus - Foundation Highclere Castle CoronaDon’t let this Connecticut wrapper fool you. This cigar packs in the flavor and some punch. The construction is great and the burn are flawless. Easily one of the top 5 Connecticut shade cigars. My only knock is the price. They are on the more expensive side but considering the types of tobacco used, I guess you get what you pay for.
