Since 2014, H. Upmann has been getting in touch with the brand's banking roots circa 1800s Germany/Cuba. This began with the The Banker line, later expanding to include limited spinoffs such as H. Upmann Ingot The Banker Private Holding and H. Upmann The Banker Ingot Rosé, featuring eye-catching packaging made to resemble solid gold bars.
The banking theme now continues with the H. Upmann The Banker Daytrader cigar, offering a more modern take by acknowledging the day-trading craze that has blown up in recent years. This includes candlestick chart graphics throughout the boxes and bands. But beneath the concept lies an exciting smoking experience for the modern cigar hobbyist. This includes an Ecuadorian wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Rolled out of the famed Tabacalera de García factory in the DR, The Banker Daytrader offers a medium body with a focus on balance, hitting standout flavors of toasted cedar, an earthy core, and touches of nuttiness and cream.
