Ferio Tego Generoso

From the outset of the Ferio Tego project in 2021, co-founder Michael Herklots envisioned a pairing of two distinct styles—one bright and refined (Elegancia), the other darker and more commanding. To bring the latter to life, Herklots partnered with the Plasencia family in Nicaragua, selecting a Honduran-grown wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. The result is a cigar that delivers full-bodied flavor without brashness, offering richness that expands and lingers across the palate.

Since its inaugural vintage, Generoso has returned each year in limited quantities, with new editions arriving in 2022, 2023, and 2024. The blend’s foundation has remained consistent, yet each release is adjusted to match the unique character of that year’s tobaccos. This approach treats every production as a vintage, much like wine, allowing Generoso to evolve while retaining its core identity. The tradition continues annually, with future renditions promising fresh interpretations of its signature style.

In any year, the Generoso cigar offers a velvety, slow-burning experience that’s both savory and layered. Flavors weave between espresso, dark chocolate, and oak, supported by leather, pepper, and subtle herbal undertones.
