Inspired by U.S. Navy veteran Lionel H. McKoy (a Gulf War sailor turned Casa Carrillo shipping manager), the Perez-Carrillo Battleborn cigar is a heartfelt tribute from Ernesto and family to those who’ve worn the uniform and carried its weight beyond the battlefield.
The cigar is dubbed “Warriors,” a 6” x 56 toro gordo that brings a broad-shouldered presence with a fuller-bodied blend to match. A Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper surrounds dual binders from Mexico and Nicaragua, with all-Nicaraguan fillers burning at the core.
