El Septimo The Emperor Collection
Known for their lavish and opulent packaging and demanding quality standards, El Septimo is now available to the American market. While the brand dates back to 2005, it wasn't until billionaire CEO Zaya S. Younan acquired the business that El Septimo began reaching its full potential.
Younan has helped pioneer the extravagant collections that the brand has become known for in recent years, with The Emperor Collection being perhaps the most ambitious to date. As the title insinuates, the cigars are themed around history's most sovereign rulers, including Augustus Cesar, Napoleon, and King Sargon, the world's first emperor.
There are 10 cigars (and five emperors) in the El Septimo The Emperor Collection in total, with various sizes and tobacco recipes allowing for unique experiences across the line. Additionally, the series marks El Septimo's first use of Connecticut wrapper, with six of the 10 cigars boasting the shade-grown leaf (while the remaining four are maduro). El Septimo has kept the majority of the project close to the vest, though they have disclosed that the blends feature tobaccos from four unique regions of the world.
