Crowned Heads Le Careme

Since their first release in 2011, Crowned Heads has largely been known for their retro, Cuba-meets-wild-west persona. Based out of Nashville, Tennessee, Crowned Heads embraced the music scene as well, with notable influences from the likes of Johnny Cash (Jericho Hill), Led Zeppelin (Headley Grange), and Kings of Leon (Four Kicks). But for their latest, Crowned Heads has switched gears, delving into the world of French cuisine of all things!

Introducing the Le Carême by Crowned Heads, the brand’s first regular production maduro cigar to come out of the renowned Tabacalera La Alianza factory in the Dominican Republic. These dark, Connecticut Broadleaf-wrapped smokes draw inspiration from Marie-Antoine Carême, a man often credited as the first internationally renowned “Celebrity Chef”. Carême is known for helping to pioneer the art of grande cuisine, creating the modern chef’s hat, and being an early proponent of the soufflé. This is where the cigar comes in… Le Carême uses a decadent blend of Nicaraguan fillers, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and “Grade A” Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper tobacco; together producing a flavor profile that is unmistakable for a chocolate soufflé!
