CLE Prieto

C.L.E. Cigar Company is a powerhouse in the premium cigar industry, flexing its blending muscles yet again with the release of the C.L.E. Prieto cigar. Slang for Dark, the Prieto is the deeper and bolder cigar sibling of the C.L.E. Chele (slang for White). Founder and master blender Chrisitian Eiroa pulls no punches on the dark theme of the Prieto, making use of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper for the first time on any C.L.E release.

Eiroa and C.L.E. Cigars are well known for producing exciting and flavorful blends out of their Honduran factory, but take a decidedly different approach with the Prieto by having it rolled in the heart of Nicaraguan tobacco country. Using the change in scenery as inspiration, the C.L.E. Prieto delivers a bold Nicaraguan profile without losing sight of complexity and balance. The C.L.E. Prieto is available in both parejo and box-pressed versions. The coffee-colored Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper combines with perfectly aged Nicaraguan leaves to offer classic notes of chocolate, leather, and black pepper in a thick and decadent medium-to-full-bodied smoke.
