New for 2023, Cigar Dojo has collaborated with Aganorsa Leaf to offer the first-ever interpretation of a Dojo "house" blend with the Pagoda 2023 cigar. Pagoda towers are the most iconic architecture found throughout Asia—a perfect home for Cigar Dojo and the DOJONATION community!
As Cigar Dojo is not shy about their fondness for Aganorsa tobacco, the limited Pagoda 2023 cigar took shape with Aganorsa's prized Nicaraguan tobacco throughout the wrapper, binder, and filler. Aiming for a clean and refreshing smoking experience, the blend begins with Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99 leaves from Nicaragua at its core. This foundation (filler) was then bound in a double binder, including Corojo tobacco from both Estelí and Jalapa. Finally, Pagoda 2023 features a rich Corojo '99 wrapper as the finishing touch.
The cigars were crafted in a single 6″ x 48 toro format, making for a cool and concentrated smoke onto the palate. With a medium to medium-plus intensity, the smoke is an ideal afternoon to early evening treat, having clean and naturally sweet characteristics of cedar, natural honey, and a ginger snap cookie note through the finish that'll have you coming back for more.
